Malik is a close  friend of the former Dar al-Hijrah imam al-Awlaki, The most wanted terrorist, who privately ministered to the 9/11 hijackers, is tied to the Fort Hood Shooter, the Christmas day bomber, just to name a few. More on him below.

Congressman Jim Moran is a friend and a big supporter of the Dar al-Hijrah and it’s Imam Malik. Moran is also named as the #2 or the “Top Ten Recipients of Arab-Muslim Cash” with $15,000 in contributions in the 2000-2008 election cycles, according to the book Muslim Mafia,  which details the radical history of CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood.

 Congressman Jim Moran was quoted on having the Gitmo detainees moved to Alexandria – “Taking the easy route and joining the chorus of those crying "not in my back yard" is appealing. But that's not the Alexandria I know and have represented in Congress for nearly 20 years.”

 Yea,  Jim, we know, for the last 20 years your district has been home to the most notorious terrorists, and a great base for Hamas, the known terror organization that wants to destroy Israel.

Chesser, who just two years ago was a high school football player and crew member in Fairfax, VA, is now one of 34 Americans accused of and charged with having ties to international terrorists in the past 18 months.

5 Male Students from Virginia are arrested in Pakistan, Dec. 2009-    The Washington Post reports that "the young men were taken into custody at the home of an activist linked to Jaish-i-Muhammed, a jihadist group that...has been branded a terrorist organization by the U.S." There are conflicting reports in the media about the heritage of the five men. They are believed to be American citizens with a heritage encompassing Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, and Switzerland.

Newsweek reports that Ramy Zamzam, president of the D.C. council of Muslim Students Association, may allegedly be one of the young men arrested in Pakistan. Newsweek also notes that one of the men allegedly attended the same mosque, Dar Al_Hijrah, that Major Nidal Hasan, the alleged Fort Hood murdered, attended when he lived in the Washington, DC area.

There seems to be a heating up of incidents involving plots against America by citizens here. Recently at Fort Hood in Texas, Major Nidal Hasan allegedly shot and killed American soldiers in what is now widely believed to have been a terrorist attack."

 Ahmed Omar abu-Ali, an Al Qaeda operative convicted, on 03/29/2006, of plotting to assassinate President W. Bush. 
He was valedictorian of his 1999 class at the Islamic Saudi Academy in Fairfax County.
Ahmed Omar Abu Ali had been given a 30-year prison term after he was convicted in 2005 of joining an al-Qaeda conspiracy to mount a series of Sept. 11-style attacks and assassinations in the United States.  

Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki,  Dar Al-Hijra is the mosque where Anwar al-Awlaki was Imam  between January 2001 and April 2002. 
He was linked to and well regarded by 2 of the 911 hijackers, below, the Chrsitmas Day bomber, the Fort Hood shooter, and is now the only American on the CIA’s ‘capture or kill list’. Evidence is mounting that al-Awlaki is perhaps the most dangerous enemy of the U.S. because of his ability to recruit followers and inspire attacks through e-mails and websites, the CIA says. The Arabic satellite network Al Arabiya has dubbed him the "bin Laden of the Internet."

 Nidal Hassan,  The Fort Hood shooter, attended Dar Al-Hijrah periodically when he lived in the Washington, DC area, up to 2009 when he was transferred to Texas, and his now infamous powerpoint presentation, “The Koranic Worldview as it Related to Muslims in the Military” is closely in line with the 2005 preaching of the current Dar Al-Hijrah Imam, Shaker Elsayed “Fighting to establish an Islamic State, to please God even by force, is condoned by the Islam.”

Sabri Benkahla, Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Northern Virginia hosted a fund-raising dinner in mid-February for the ongoing legal fees of Sabri Benkahla, sentenced in 2007 to 10 years in prison for lying to authorities about training with militants in Pakistan.

 
Randall Royer -convicted Virginia Network leader - Ismail, a former CAIR official.

Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer was CAIR's "Communications Specialist." He was also "Civil Rights Coordinator." He was indicted on charges of conspiring to help Al Qaida and the Taliban to battle American troops in Afghanistan. On January 16, 2004, he pleaded guilty to lesser offenses and was convicted of weapons and explosives charges in connection to a terrorist related offense

Abdurahman M. Alamoudi 

Former head of American Muslim Council was sentenced to 23 years in prison for terrorism financing. Alamoudi also confessed to taking part in a Libyan plot to assassinate the then Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. An appeals court granted the right to seize a Fairfax, VA home as part of the government's punishment of Alamoudi.

 Mir Aimal Kasi, a Pakistani who killed two CIA employees in 1993 in a rage over American policy in the Middle East, was executed by lethal injection in 2002, in a case that sparked protests in his homeland and fears of retaliation against U.S. interests. Kasi's spiritual adviser Dr. Miah Muhammed Saeed, president of the Islamic Center in northern Virginia, accompanied him into the death chamber.
